Part of the Furniture is a capstone project completed for the BFA in Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. Named after the essay by David Lyon in the book The Culture of Surveillance, Part of the Furniture is an attempt to open viewers up to the world of surveillance beyond its current digital associations, and examine not only where watching is going, but where watching has been.
